We are continuing to improve GoalEnvision with features that make tracking more accurate and tailored to your specific needs.
Dynamic threshold values for condition status
When setting up how a condition's traffic light is determined, you can now choose between a static or a dynamic threshold value.
Static works as before. You enter a fixed value that applies to all months, for example that a measured value below 50 always gives a red light.
Per month is the new option. Here you set an ambition level for each individual month, and the traffic light color is determined by how much the actual value deviates from the month-specific ambition level. This makes it possible to account for seasonal variations and natural fluctuations in your operations, without a condition being incorrectly flagged as red simply because activity is lower during certain periods.
This is particularly useful if you:
have operations that vary significantly between seasons
measure something that naturally peaks or dips at certain times of the year
want the traffic light to reflect the expected level rather than an absolute figure
You will find the setting under the "Define the criteria" tab when editing a condition that is measured with a metric.
