Connecting to your Google Workspace allows you and other users in your Goalenvision organization to add users from Google Workspace to your Goalenvision organization instead of creating them manually. 

 

Prerequisites:

  • A Goalenvision user with an Administrator role on a selected Goalenvision organization
  • A Google user account with a Super Admin role

 

If you don't have the permissions ask your administrator to connect organizations or give the permissions.

Connection step-by-step instruction:

 

  1. Open https://goalenvision.com/organizations and select an organization to which you want to connect.

    After clicking on the organization name you will be redirected to your Goalenvision organization page.
  2. Click the 'settings' button in the top-right corner.

  3. Click the 'connect Google Workplace' button on the organization details tab. You will be redirected to the Google login page where you can select one of your Google accounts or login to different accounts.

  4. Login to the account in the Google Workplace organization to which you want to connect (your account must have administrator permissions).

  5. Then you will see the requested permissions window with the requested permissions Please select 'View data about your domain users' permission this is mandatory to see a user name for import to your Goalenvision organization (if you don't see the requested permissions window please ensure you have administrator permissions).

  6. Click the 'accept' button and you successfully connected your Goalenvision organization to your Google Workplace organization. 

 

Now you can see Google Workplace organization name on the organization details tab at organization settings and the button 'disconnect' which you can use to disconnect your Google Workplace organization from your Goalenvision organization at any time you want. 

Now you can see users that exist in your Google Workplace organization at the  Goalenvision organization at the 'Add people' modal when you use the employee search function. These users will appear with the Google icon before their name. 

 

Connect to Office 365 / Azure AD


Connecting to your Office 365 / Azure AD  allows you and other users in your Goalenvision organization to add users from Office 365 / Azure AD to your Goalenvision organization instead of creating them manually.

Prerequisites:

  • A Goalenvision user with an Administrator role on a selected Goalenvision organization
  • An Azure AD user account with one of the following roles:
    • Global Administrator or Privileged Role Administrator, for granting consent for apps requesting any permission, for any API.
    • Cloud Application Administrator or Application Administrator, for granting consent for apps requesting any permission for any API, except Azure AD Graph or Microsoft Graph app roles (application permissions).
    • A custom directory role that includes the permission to grant permissions to applications, for the permissions required by the application.

 

If you don't have the permissions ask your administrator to connect organizations or give the permissions.

Connection step-by-step instruction:

 

  1. Open https://goalenvision.com/organizations and select an organization to which you want to connect

    After clicking on the organization name you will be redirected to your Goalenvision organization page.

  3. Click the 'connect Office 365' button on the organization details tab.

    You will be redirected to the Microsoft login page to select one of your Microsoft accounts

  4. Select one of the presented accounts or login to another account

  5. Login to the account in Office 365 / Azure AD organization to which you want to connect (your account must have administrator permissions).

  6. Then you will see the requested permissions window with 'Sign in and read user profile' and 'Read all user's full profiles' these permissions are mandatory to see a user name or job title for import to your Goalenvision organization
    (if you don't see the requested permissions window please ensure you have administrator permissions).
    If you agree click accept the 'accept' button and you successfully connected your Goalenvision organization to your Office 365 / Azure AD organization.

 

Now you can see Office 365 / Azure AD organization name on the organization details tab at organization settings and the button 'disconnect' which you can use to disconnect your Office 365 / Azure AD organization from your Goalenvision organization at any time you want. 

 

Now you can see users that exist in your Office 365 / Azure AD organization but don't at the  Goalenvision organization at the 'Add people' modal when you use the employee search function. These users will appear with the Azure icon before their name.
